Life Share – Manchester 6 June 7 Jun 2009
Over 130 volunteers earned their ticket to the gig on July 13 at the Apollo with Lady Gaga, N-Dubz and the Enemy. Orange RockCorps partnered with Life Share, a 25 year old Manchester charity that helps homeless people in the city.
Volunteers sanded down furniture, painted walls and sorted food, supplies and other goods for the folks who come to Life Share for help. These hard working rockers worked to earn their tickets and helped out a great organization in the process. DJ’s Agent J and Illum Sphere from Groovement and Unity Radio cut up the project sonically with hot jawns on the ones and twos.
